Occasionally, you will crave a rich meal; occasionally you will want a lighter meal, but we have the solution for both.

- Prima Grissini with cumin
- 170 g of prosciutto or bacon
- 226 g of goat cheese
- 113 g of Italian Provolone cheese or another cheese to taste
- ¼ cup of chopped leek
- 6 spoons of nicely chopped basil
- 5 eggs
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 tablespoon of mustard
- ½ tablespoon of salt
- Pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons of melted butter
How to make
Place Prima Grissini on the ground of a glass, heat-resistant bakeware. Add half of prosciutto or bacon and then a half of Provolone and goat cheese on top. Leek and basil come next. Repeat! Layer the rest of Prima Grissini, cheeses and spices.
In a separate dish combine eggs, milk, salt, mustard and pepper. Pour the mixture over the layers in bakeware and press firmly so that everything is nicely absorbed. You can pour melted butter over the top, but this step is not a must. Leave it overnight or bake right away – the choice is yours.
Preheat the oven to 350ºC and leave the dish for one hour. After taking it out of the oven, leave it to cool and finally, cut into squares and serve!
