Day of education with Prima

Products needed

Are you familiar with the significance of January 24? Those that go to school will tell you that that day marks the end of school break, while for the students, examination period is in full swing. For those a little older, January 24 is just another working Monday. Yet, this date marks a really important holiday – International Day of Education.

Knowledge is power

When we are younger, we often think that we will be finished with learning as soon as the institutional part of education is over. Then, we grow up and we realize that that isn’t really the case. As the world around us is changing more rapidly, continuing education is now more important than ever. Let us not forget the Malala Yousafzai’s famous quote – ‘One child, one teacher, one book, one pen can change the world’. Education is important, not only to be up-to-date with everything that is happening around us, but to be able to change some things for the better on our own. The cause of many social injustices are precisely misunderstandings created by the lack of education.

So, it is important not to stop learning! Each day is an opportunity to learn something new, and it is never too late to acquire new skills!

Learning to learn

No matter your age, follow these few simple tips to be able to learn with ease. For starters, it is important that you get enough sleep and that you are well rested. It is useful to have a quiet place for studying, but don’t be afraid to shake up your routine! Some studies have shown that changing location can be beneficial while studying, even if it just means that you will swap your desk for your armchair. For sure, you know that repetition is the mother of all learning, and we would add: breaks are her helpers! Even when you are deep into the subject, occasional breaks are welcome.

As you relax between lessons, whether they are related to school or life, treat yourself with a quick vitamin drink that will recharge your batteries in a few sips. We suggest an easy recipe that will go perfectly with your favorite Prima Peanuts sticks.

Ingredients

  • Mango
  • Banana
  • Pineapple
  • Orange
  • Ginger
  • Ice

How to make

We will start with peeling and chopping the fruit. For this recipe, it would be great to cut and freeze the pineapple in advance. Using this method, the drink will have a better density. In case you like your smoothie to be more liquid, feel free to skip this step.

Once your fruit is chopped into pieces, put all ingredients in the blender, skipping bananas. Add some ice over the fruit and as a last ingredient, add bananas on top. This is a hack – adding the ingredients in this order will make the blending process easier, and your smoothie will have a nicer texture.

After a couple of minutes in the blender, the smoothie is ready! Pour it in a glass, open Prima Peanuts sticks and return to studying. You will notice how everything is easier this way!
