High temperatures do not reduce the desire for sweets, but who wants to spend hours in a hot kitchen in the summer heat. Long summer days therefore call for short and simple recipes, ready in no time and full of irresistible taste. We have selected just one of these for all the sweet-teeth out there!
The classic cheesecake is a well-known dessert and it is an excellent base for experimenting with flavors and various additions.
This time it is enriched with a fine salted caramel, and you will not need to turn on the stove to prepare it.
In addition to the phenomenal taste, this recipe is easy to prepare, you will only have to be patient while the cake cools in the refrigerator.
For the biscuit and sticks base:
250 g Petit Beurre
75 g of Prima Classic sticks
135 g of butter
For the filling:
500 g of full-fat cream cheese
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
100 g of powdered sugar
150 g of caramel
1-2 teaspoons of sea salt
300 ml of sweet cream
For the decoration:
100 g of caramel
1. Chop the biscuits and Prima sticks in a food processor and mix with the melted butter.
Spread the mix on the bottom of a deep dish and press firmly. Let it chill in the fridge while you prepare the rest!
2. Beat the cream cheese, vanilla, and powdered sugar with a mixer until the mixture is smooth.
Add the caramel and mix again until smooth and lump-free.
3. Add the sweet cream, add salt, and continue mixing for a few minutes until it becomes thick like a mousse.
4. Spread the filling on the base and leave overnight in the refrigerator.
For decoration, pour a little caramel over it and enjoy a refreshing dessert!
